report clock Chapter 5. Tcl Command Reference

rename impl

rename impl <newImplName> [-project <arg>] [-impl <arg>]

This command renames an implementation. Changing the name of an implementation also changes the

name of the implementation output directory on disk (even without calling ”save project”).

Argument Required/Optional Description

<newImplName> Required The required <newImplName>

argument is used to specify the

new implementation name.

[-project <arg>] Optional The optional -project

<projectName> and -impl

<implName> options are used

to specify an alternate project

implementation (by name) to

change the name for.

Report clocks in the current design

ACE software supports the report clocks command to print the clock domain with the period and their

relationship. It is a good idea to use this to verify that a wild card did not accidentally refer to more clocks

than the user intended. (USER can put this in the SDC ﬁle or type it directly in the Tcl Console view of the

ACE GUI).

report impl options

report impl options [-outputfile <arg>] [-text] [-csv] [-project <arg>] [-impl

<arg>] [-show values] [-show all]

Output a report of the current impl options deﬁned in ACE
